Mommy miss you soooo much, sayang. You are right in front of my eyes and yet Mommy still miss you. Mommy miss spending time with you.
Mommy gave birth to your baby sister, Emma recently and has been quite occupied with her. Mommy feels guilty each time you ask Mommy to carry you or go do activities with you but Mommy couldn't because baby Emma wants to nurse or simply because Mommy is in confinement and thus cannot go out or climb thr stairs.
Mommy miss our quality time in the car after fetching you from nursery and also the time when you want to sleep and chat with mommy and touch mommy's face (or most of the time kick mommy's face).
Mommy is so sorry if you think Mommy has let you down. Just know that even though Mommy doesn't get to spend as much time with you as before, Mommy never love you any less. MOMMY LOVES YOU SO MUCH.
Dear Sarah
A little present for my precious angel for all the memories that we have shared and beautiful adventures that we will experience.

Malaysia Breakfast Day Run
Papa wanted to join the 7km Malaysia Breakfast Day Run and he suggested for Mommy and Sarah to join the 3km family category. Unfortunately, for this category, there must be two adults and one child. By the time Mommy found the second adult to accompany us, the registration has been closed! :(
But since the run was sponsored by MILO and there is going to be the MILO van, Mommy still want to go. Somehow, the MILO from the MILO van always taste better..hehehe. So, on last Sunday (19 May 2013), Mommy and Papa dragged you out of bed as early as 6 am and off we go to UPM.
We left home quite early but then got stuck at the UPM exit. By 6.50 am, we were still quite a distance to the UPM main gate. So, Papa decided to get off the car and walk to the starting point, which leaves mommy to park the car as close to the entrance gate as possible.
The plan was for Mommy to push the stroller with you sleeping in it and just enjoy the environment while looking for the MILO van (yes, MILO van seems to be the star of the story!). But, was that how it goes? Of course not! hahaha. The moment Mommy tried to put you in the stroller, you started crying and clinging to Mommy, demanding to be carried. So there we were. Mommy carrying you carrying a cat on one hand, and pushing a stroller in the other hand. 10 minutes later, we found the MILO van. By this time, Mommy's hand has started cramping. Mommy was so happy. But, it was so short-lived because the van was out of MILO. What???
At this point, you decided to walk and push your cat in the stroller.
And so you did, in a not so straightforward motion. So, it took us like forever to get to the starting point. When we eventually got to the starting point, Papa has already started the run. So then Mommy decided to go to the finish line where more MILO vans can be found. After a lot of cajoling (more like shouting), and near miss accidents, we finally reached the finish line where we bumped into Mommy's colleague who was kind enough to push the stroller for Mommy while Mommy went chasing after you.
We waited for papa at the finishing line but somehow missed him finishing the run. Hahaha. Don't think he ran that fast. But anyhow, he clock 44 minuted for a 7km. Not bad for someone who rarely runs. If Mommy were to run in a 7 km run, 2 hours kut baru finish.
All in all, it was a good outing and Mommy think everyone had fun. Perhaps in the future Mommy and Sarah will get to join a run together.

And oh.. Mommy finally got to drink the MILO from the van. Mommy tried to share some with Sarah but you didn't like it. And when Papa finished the run, he brought another one for Mommy! Suka! Love you both so much.

Nursery Dilemma
Mommy and Papa were in a great dilemma over which nursery to send you to for a while now. All these while we have been sending you to A*C Nursery. However, sometime in March your nursery moved to a new building which is further away from our office. Frankly, we thing that it was a good move by the nursery because they move to bigger house, with land for you to run around and plants for you to water. And you have a new room with your own wardrobe. The only worry is the distance and the extra time on the road. To make things worse, Mommy and Papa have to move office to a new office which is still close to the old nursery location but not to the new one.

| Your nursery |
One good thing, our new office has a nursery in the same building! Even the fees is cheaper by a few hundred ringgit a month. Wihuu. So we went to visit the nursery and we like what we saw, the condition and the teachers. So, we registered you.
Finally, came the day when our office have to move, two months behind schedule. We brought you to the new nursery for trial period. For the first two sessions, which were two hours each, we were required to accompany you at the nursery. So, during this time, we get to observe the activities and the other children. Everything seems great and you seemed to like the place but, we noticed that your peer group is a bit too quiet and it bothered us. We are used to seeing your friends in your existing nursery and how bubbly they were and somehow we think that is why you are so expressive yourself. We can't help thinking what was wrong with your new peer group.

| You and new teacher at your almost new nursery. |
After talking to other colleagues, we finally discovered why they don't speak as much as you do, they can't converse yet! At 1.5 years, you can already ask questions and know all the animal names and their sounds, name the fruits.. or in other words, have a large vocabulary. Mommy and Papa took it for granted and assume everyone your age can do the same. Even the teachers at your new nursery thought you were at least 2 years old already.
Then came the worry. With your existing playgroup, you are one of the youngest and have a lot to learn from them. That is probably one of the contributing factor why you are quite advanced compared to your peers. Whereas the new play group, most of them are your age and you will probably have to do the teaching.
So, after weeks of thinking and debating over our convenience and your personal development, we have decided that you should come first. We believe, you are better off at the existing nursery, for now and therefore, we don't mind the extra effort to send you to the further nursery. After all, you looked so happy in the existing nursery that we do not want to disturb that. Also, we really love Teacher Mala and we know you love her lots too. It is undeniable that she is one of the reason why we chose to let you stay at A*C Nursery. We have faith in her experience and she is just so motherly.
Another factor is because we are most likely to move house in the very near future that we think it will be too much change for you, changing nursery and moving house within a couple of months.
At least that is our decision for the next four months (your existing nursery requires commitment per term which is four months :)). Hopefully, it is the right one. Perhaps when you are bigger and can tell us which nursery you prefer to go to and why, we will reconsider the other nursery. Either that or until we cannot stand the traffic to get to your nursery especially from our new house. hahaha.
Love you lots, Sarah. Know that we are willing to sacrifice anything for you darling.
Yes
Dear Sarah,
For many months now, most of the time, all that we hear from your mouth is No, No want or Tak Nak!. So, a few days ago, while looking at a picture of cupcakes in the car, Mommy asked
Mommy: Sarah, would you like a cupcake?
Sarah : Yes! (Loud and clear)
Mommy speechless. Hahaha mana nak cari cupcakes in the car?

Telekung
These days, whenever Mommy solat, you will patiently wait for Mommy to finish. And when Mommy said patiently, Mommy didn't mean it in the conventional way but more like you wait while sitting on Mommy, played "Aumm Chak" with Mommy or try to piggy bag. Hahaha. Extra concentration is definitely required when praying these days. But, that's another story.
When Mommy habis solat jer, you will say "Akai". Translation: Pakai. You will want to wear the telekung and then pretend to pray. Usually you will appear to mumble something then straight away sujud.
You love wearing the telekung so much, you will walk around in it. Alhamdulillah. Semoga menjadi anak yang solehah yang rajin solat. The problem is, Mommy's telekung is too big for you that you tend to trip whenever you wear it or you have problem taking out your hand and this makes you angry!
It is definitely time for Mommy to get you your own telekung lah, sayang. The question is where? hmm

Cats
Dear Sarah,
At 1.5 years old, you can already identify most of the animals together with their sounds. Not only that, you love them lots too. All of them. In fact these days, you refuse to wear a shirt unless it has at least one animal picture or character on it. Of course your all time favourite is the penguin or "Awin" in your language and angry birds or "Aber tek" as you call it.
Today's story is however related to a specific cat only. A few months back, your Aki and Wan went to Miri via Kuching. So, during their transit in Kuching, they bought u a soft toy, in a form of cat. When you first saw it, you actually thought it was a real cat. You meow-ed at it many times and refuse to go near it but every excited nonetheless. After a while you realised that it was not a real cat and you lost interest.
However, of late, you fell in love with it and took it everywhere. You try to feed susu to the cat and always hugging and stroking it. You even take it with you to the nursery. But, the ultimate love you shown the cat was yesterday, when you showered it! Hahaha.
You've been avoiding shower time for many days now. Mommy was pleasantly surprised when you requested to shower when we got home. So we took off your clothes and diaper and was about to shower you when suddenly you said, "Wait, wait, wait" and went looking for the cat. "Cat, where are you?", Mommy heard you from the shower. A minute later you came back with the cat
Mommy : Sarah, what is the cat doing here? Put it away, it is shower time!
Sarah : No want No Want No want. Cat shower time (pointing at the cat).
Hahaha at this point mommy dah start gelak.
Mommy: Papa, help! Sarah wants to shower the cat. How?
Papa : Bagi la. Janji dia shower.
Papa masa ni dah join gelak. Sarah marah because Mommy told papa and wont let you shower the cat. You tried to close the door on Mommy and refuse to shower until Mommy go away. Amboi!! But never mind, Mommy pegi jauh sikit.
So, papa switched on the shower and the first thing you did was to shove the cat's head under the running water..hahaha and when papa shampooed your hair, you took some and shampooed the cat.. Auww. And afterwards, when Mommy tried to dry you after the shower, you asked for the cat to be toweled as well. So last night, after dressing you, Mommy had an additional task,..... to blow dry the cat! Hahaha
Sorry sayang if Mommy offended you by laughing last night. You sure have a way to make mommy laugh. But, know that deep down Mommy is so proud of you for being so loving and responsible at such a young age.
